Enemies of the People: Remembering the Cambodian Genocide on Human Rights Day

This program includes a screening of Rob Lemkin and Sambath Thet's critically-acclaimed documentary film, Enemies of the People (2010), which potently brings to light the ruptures that remain with regard to the Cambodian genocide perpetrated during the Khmer Rouge era (1975-1979). The screening will be followed by a performance by Cambodian American rapper praCh Ly, and a discussion between Ly and Professor Cathy Schlund-Vials (University of Connecticut).
